Friends of the Tuckahoe Library
Who we are
The Friends of the Tuckahoe Library is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization created in support of the Tuckahoe Library. Our goal is to initiate, organize, promote, and encourage cultural and educational activities, and to raise funds to support library activities and needs.
What We Do
Museum Memberships
The Friends of the Tuckahoe Library funds the museum passes available to all library patrons, including the 9/11 Memorial, The Intrepid Air & Space Museum, The Hudson River Museum, and more!
Events & Programming
Throughout the year, the Friends sponsors special events and programming at the Library. The Friends also funds the prizes for the yearly summer reading challenge.
Special Projects
The Friends works with the library board when special needs come up to ensure our library is well taken care of for the community.
